Glücksbringer
On the night of February 7, 2021, Leo Jericke died unexpectedly, a few weeks before his sixteenth birthday. Leo had been collecting things he found on the ground in his surrounding since he was a small child. He kept them first in his pockets and then in his room. They were items that would bring him luck. He called them Glücksbringer which translates as lucky charms. Since he can no longer pick up the things himself, Jenny Rova does it for him. Each photograph represents a month of collecting.
Glücksbringer is a collaboration between Jenny Rova and her late son.
